My friend booked a room for one night under her name, but checking out the next morning turned into a mess. She told reception she was leaving and that the door was open. Instead of checking the room at the proper time, as they should, staff claimed they had seen me there and decided on their own that she was keeping the booking. They lied about it, and I found the whole thing dishonest and unprofessional. I felt they were trying to extort guests who are foreigners with baseless charges. The place was filthy and disorganized, and the staff seemed to have no grasp of basic hospitality. This was the worst stay I've ever had. Foreigners should avoid booking here.

The rooms were bad, and the bed was very hard. The manager and receptionist didn't know how to do their jobs, and the hotel and its management are a joke. They steal from guests, and if you leave something with them to keep, they'll say it's missing. There are all kinds of bad things going on there. The government should shut the hotel down. Please be careful if you stay, and tell people where you are so you don't go missing.

The food was filling, the restaurant looked beautiful, and the staff were courteous. We had a good time both times I've been here. On this visit we sat in the open space upstairs, which we really liked. Time and money well spent.

The service was great, and the Wi-Fi was pretty good. I shared the comfortable bed with two other people. My main worry was the bathroom: it wasn't very clean, and the windows made it seem unsafe and vulnerable to a break-in if you're paranoid about that. I nearly forgot, the TV remote didn't work. Aside from those issues, good stuff.

The shower was broken, so I had to use a bucket. The rooms are fairly nice, and both the AC and fan worked well. It's a nice option if you're using MMIA airport, since they have an airport shuttle. I'd call it a 3-star hotel.
