Light Spring Hotel

The building itself was the only good thing, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The AC worked when I inspected the room during the day, but failed at night, so the heat kept me awake. There was no hot water, the TV stations didn’t work, and I couldn’t use the pool because the person meant to clean it after a pool party hadn’t arrived. When I asked about breakfast, they couldn’t say when it would be ready. Service was horrible. Every time I called reception, I got the same excuse that the person handling it wasn’t around. A few times when I was leaving, reception was unattended and I couldn’t hand over my keys, which feels like a security concern since someone could reach the room unnoticed. There was no telephone directory in my room, so they had to write the numbers down for me. There were mosquitoes too, and I had to use the repellent I’d brought.

One receptionist was rude and unwelcoming, and the ACs in the rooms we used weren’t cooling. The hotel is hot, mouldy, and badly maintained, with too few staff and unreliable service. It could be much better with proper upkeep and staff training, but I won’t stay here again.

The location is great for a traveler, but the service is extremely poor. The room was mouldy and hard to breathe in. We couldn’t shower all day or night because the bathroom in the most expensive room, at 65k, wasn’t working. When we complained, someone came in and said, "I don't know why it's not working". There’s just ONE staff member running the whole hotel. When the power went out, nobody could turn on the generator, and I had to walk down from the third floor to beg for power. I was there three times and was the only person in the whole hotel. I’ve never seen a place like this. Please stay away.
