The quiet inside the facility was heavenly, and there was constant power. I stayed December 1-5 2024, after having some doubts, and ended up pleasantly surprised. I liked being close to Unilag for my engagements, with plenty of nearby places to shop and look around. My room’s shower didn’t work, so I had to use a bucket. Dinner arrived much too late and felt a bit overpriced. Those two problems aside, I’d come back and recommend the place.

The price felt right for this place, and I’d call it a proper 4/5, arguably one of the best in Yaba. It’s a quiet, serene spot with reliable security, and the staff are professional and well behaved. The bathroom door in my assigned room, A2-O2, is cracked at the bottom, and the water heater wasn’t working properly. I don’t understand why there’s no complimentary breakfast. I think offering one could bring more lodgers to the bar.

Even though I paid for their most expensive suite, I couldn’t get a lock or a towel without begging. The staff were reluctant and nagging, and I couldn’t sleep, so I checked out and went somewhere else. I’ve stayed at lots of hotels, but I’ve never had worse service. This place felt like an extension of a burial ground. Shame on the owners.
