Perch Hotel And Suites

Bad service, poor facilities, and way too much noise. This hotel is useless, don’t be fooled.

The lagoon view from the spacious, modern rooms was lovely, and the staff were friendly. Food was consistently good too. Radisson Blu Hotel in Lagos is well placed for work or leisure, with a pool, fitness center, and other high quality amenities. It’s on the pricey side, but I felt the service and stay were worth it.

It was easy to find, but the area is noisy and dirty. The facilities are starting to feel old.

The one bright spot was the female receptionist, who was calm and well mannered. Everything else made this the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. I’d booked online, but arrived to no light and was shown rooms by phone torch. Both rooms I saw had cockroaches, so I left the first for another and found them there too. There was a strong insecticide smell in each. Power was awful, and the generator was switched off in the afternoon. They said they use a small generator, so the AC didn’t work then. At night, young boys in the room opposite played loud music and sang.
