Rollace Hotel Lagos INTL

I've stayed here several times and booked the same hotel for my parents twice, always through the same website without any previous trouble. This time, though, the way they handled my booking has permanently damaged my trust in the place. I booked directly on the hotel's official website and paid in full online. I had confirmation receipts and all the supporting documents. When I arrived at about 2:00 a.m., the front desk attendant had to be woken up. She checked the system and immediately said I had no reservation. Even after I showed the receipts and proof of payment, she insisted the booking wasn't there and said there were no rooms. It was clear to me that the hotel had overbooked. Instead of acknowledging that, apologizing, or arranging a refund, the staff member and her supervisor denied responsibility. They left me without a place to stay in the middle of the night after taking my money. Taking payment, denying a confirmed booking, refusing to sort it out, and leaving a paying guest stranded at 2 a.m. is completely unacceptable and indefensible. I did manage to find a much better hotel and continue my trip, but I strongly advise against booking here. This property operates in a way that feels fraudulent. IT IS A SCAM! Book elsewhere.
