The basics were a real problem here: there was no power or running water from noon until 4pm, and the internet was poor. Restaurant service and the way guests are managed were also disappointing. For a Victoria Island hotel, the service falls below standard.

The location is nice and the price is affordable. There are lots of mosquitoes, though, and you may end up breathing other people's smoke. If that bothers you, I'd skip it.

It feels homely, the food is good and customer service is good too. No elevator, which means I get a bit of a workout, and I need that.

When I called to ask about food, they said they hadn't gone to the market. LMAO. It's a dirty, really old hotel with no drinks. Terrible, rubbish, and I could keep going.

It's comfortable and easy on the wallet, but don't rely on the restaurant.
