My relative arrived to find no record of the reservation and no rooms available in the requested category. When I called the front desk, they gave an unhelpful, unprofessional response and neither acknowledged the mistake nor tried to fix it. The whole situation was frustrating and avoidable. I had called on February 20th to book for a relative arriving in Lagos a week later. I asked how to pay and was told payment could only be made on arrival. I was worried about whether the booking was secure without payment, and asked several times if I should look elsewhere so my relative wouldn’t be inconvenienced. The staff member reassured me, took the guest’s details, and confirmed the reservation. Management should review the booking process so reservations are actually recorded and customers get accurate information. Setting expectations properly matters for a smooth stay.

The duvet looked very old, and the towels weren’t white enough after so much use. They should replace the mattress, bed, and TV too. The television is tiny. Please get new ones from Yaba market.

It feels like a private home, and the rooms were in great condition. This is a quiet, private hotel with free WiFi and good security. For the location, it’s inexpensive without giving up its high standards. You book online. A modest, hidden gem is a fair way to describe it.

Greens Manor Hotel and Suites feels like a quiet, clean home away from home, with comfortable rooms and a surprisingly central Victoria Island, Lagos location. For what you get, the price is very affordable compared with places that don’t measure up as well. I’d recommend it any time. Give it a try and share your own experience. The food is good, smells lovely, and is always clean. The hotel itself is spotless and up to standard, and you can see the value for your money right away. Staff were helpful throughout, including the gate men. At 4 am I called reception because of my TV, and someone came straight up to fix it. The lady, Abiola I think, was punctual, kind, and helpful. I’d stay here whenever I visit Nigeria. To me, it’s better than some bigger names on Victoria Island, and one of the best hotels in Lagos. I’d recommend it to anyone.
