THE GILPINs

The location is still beautiful, but the apartment hasn’t been kept up. On my recent visit last month, the water barely ran, the furniture was old, and the windows were dusty. They kept turning off the gas, and I had to ask for help with nearly everything because basic things weren’t in place. There wasn’t even a lighter for the gas or tissue rolls when I arrived. I’d really enjoyed my stay when I visited in early 2022, so I was looking forward to coming back. This time was a big letdown. They need to pay more attention to maintenance and guest comfort. I can’t recommend it to anyone who wants a clean, well-maintained place.

The balcony was my favorite spot, with comfortable chairs, games, and lovely fresh air and sea breeze. You can see the sea from there, and Aatican beach is directly opposite the apartment. The rooms were stylishly furnished and had everything you need. Most beaches are only a short drive or walk away. I wanted to take the place home with me when I left. The staff were polite and patient too. I’ll definitely come back for a few days next time, so I can visit all the beaches. Highly recommend.

I was helped with almost everything, and I’ll definitely return. It’s a nice apartment with contemporary finishes and lovely views of the ocean and beach.

The sea view and atmosphere made this a lovely getaway for my husband and me on our honeymoon. The locals were nice and helpful, and the staff were very polite and eager to help. We had a fantastic stay and hope to return the next time we’re in Nigeria.
