Dagsville Escape Boutique Hotel and Spa

The lack of coordination at checkout was the worst part. My friend and I were held at reception over a claim that a fourth bath towel was missing. We had a flight to catch, and rather than wait while housekeeping checked its own inventory, we paid for the towel. Earlier, I asked for an extra roll of toilet paper because the one in the room was used up. Reception questioned why I needed more when I was leaving that day, which felt unprofessional. I’d booked a night and told the hotel beforehand that I needed a late checkout for my flight. They quoted ₦9,000 per hour, and I agreed, but at check-in they said they could only tell me by 10 am on checkout day whether the room might be available. That didn’t make sense after I’d already explained my plans. Breakfast was limited to a feta omelette or yam with egg sauce. The room itself didn’t feel much like a hotel, though I was prepared to accept that for the price, and I did appreciate the privacy. I’d been excited to stay after a friend recommended the place, but this was a very disappointing visit and I wouldn’t recommend it.
