Novotel Port Harcourt

Getting there is easy, though the area is often crowded and can get rowdy at times. The place itself is good, and the staff are courteous and quick to respond.

The rooms are spacious, and the staff are quite helpful. For a quieter room, I'd choose one set farther inside, since the generator noise and power outages can be disruptive. The location is a major plus, with easy access to attractions and amenities. Staff were friendly and helpful during our stay, and despite the noise, Park Hotel, Port Harcourt is a solid option for a convenient stay.

The staff I met were courteous, and the food tasted like home cooking. My room had all the basics I needed and enough space, though the bathtub had stains, probably from long use. Noise outside was the main problem. Long vehicles passed with such awful sounds that they could wake the dead. Apart from that, I had a very good stay.

The room was okay, but the bathroom only supplied hot water because its water system wasn't working properly, so I couldn't bathe properly. I also had to reach far from the bed to use the air-conditioning switch. The lights only go on or off, with no dimming option.
