There was still no electricity when I came back that evening to settle into my room, even though I’d been told the hotel always had power. I’d checked in that morning and left my bags before going to a meeting. I asked about the outage, but they didn’t handle it well, so I checked out. They didn’t refund me.

The hotel is affordable, the food is not bad, and there’s a hall for events. The staff were dedicated and well-mannered. It’s great, but it’s very close to the expressway, and traffic noise at midnight will wake you unless you’re drunk. Still, it wasn’t a bad experience.

The one good thing was the constant electricity. I stayed two days, but nobody came to change the bedsheets on the second day, and I didn’t get a towel until evening. When it arrived, it was still wet. The AC wasn’t working, so they put two fans in the room. The receptionist was rude, and whenever I called for something, I’d get “I’m coming,” but nobody came. The place has a relaxed feel that works for an evening hangout, and I liked the lounge space. We decorated it for a birthday party. There’s a pool, a cozy lounge and a VIP lounge, plus a cool bar area. The subtle lighting was nice, and the ACs worked. The toilet in the VIP area was neat. The rooms are just okay, nothing especially special.
