The food is manageable, especially if you don’t have many alternatives. Getting to the hotel is easy, and there are lots of rooms in different categories, but their condition varies. I’ve stayed in both the good rooms and the “not-good” ones, so I’d inspect a room before choosing where to stay.

The price was relatively much better, especially with the good service and complimentary breakfast. Customer service was super. Kudos to management for training the staff well.

The rooms were fully booked even after two days of follow-up, which says this place is clearly loved. I hosted an event in Bayero Hall at the Hotel and was impressed by the warm service and fantastic ambience. Keep it up, Sokoto Guest Inn!

The setting was quiet and clean, and the rooms and meals were average. For the price it’s fairly decent, and it seems like a popular choice around here. Taking everything into account, it’s a fairly nice hotel.

The restaurant will cook to order if you tell them what you want, though the food leans more toward local flavours. Once you’ve eaten around elsewhere in the city, though, you won’t be able to complain. The rooms are well maintained and equipped, and the place has a great vibe, with trees full of birds. I’m comparing it with the facilities available in this city, and by that measure it’s a premium service hotel. For your next business trip, this is the best place to stay.
