The place is very calm and quiet, and it was okay for my stay. It’s a little outside town. Most of the rooms seem due for renovation, though I think they were doing some maintenance while I was there. Power seems to switch between the mains and solar, so the AC doesn’t run when they’re using solar.

The rooms are nice enough, but they control the air conditioning when power is being supplied, and usually switch it off while running the generator. They also seem badly understaffed. It’s okay, I guess.

It’s away from the city outskirts, in a quiet, cool spot, with a Bush bar behind it and plenty of parking. The hotel is always clean, and the family rooms have good toilets. Service was good too. I’d put it at three stars for the facilities they offer, though it’s a very nice hotel.

It’s secure and easy to reach, with a moderate amount of parking. The staff were courteous and dedicated, though the service itself was average. It’s only a few metres from the historic National War Museum.

It’s easy to find on National war museum road umuahia, and even has wheelchair access at the entrance and parking. The rooms are colorful, tastefully furnished and fully air conditioned, with comfortable beds and curtains that help make it feel like home. From reception to the rooms, everything has that royal look, and the service and security were great. Too royal for the price.
