The rooms are cozy and quite elegant, and the amenities are in acceptable shape. It’s a small, single-storey annex, with a little bar and restaurant and no activity area. Service felt mid-range. A nice choice for a few nights, especially if you prefer a quiet place.

I was in Uyo for an event and stayed here. The hotel itself was a good place, and the toilet was beautiful. But when I asked about using the gym or swimming pool, they sent me to Signature, which they said was their parent hotel, and charged 3k for each. There was no complimentary breakfast either, which surprised me given the standard of the hotel and the extras offered at some lower-standard places. Apart from that, it was a great place to stay.

It’s easy to hear what’s going on in the hallway, especially your calls to the front desk. Still, I got a good night’s rest. This is an annex of Signature Hotels, right next door. The front desk staff are cheerful and capable, prices may be negotiable, and the small rooms are quite neat. There’s no kitchen yet, so meal orders can take a long time while food comes from Signature. Power cuts happen often. Room service staff have also forgotten toiletries and other requests, so I had to remind them. The place feels basic, with little to distinguish it from Signature. There’s free Wi-Fi, AC, a wardrobe, desk, mirror, comb, shower cap, soap, lotion, and shampoo. No breakfast is included, the bar is more like a checkout counter or breakfast slab, and I haven’t seen a pool.

The compact layout makes every sound carry, and the staff were really noisy without much thought for guests. Food took at least an hour and a half whenever we ordered; they gave a half-hearted apology about having lots of orders, as if we should just accept the wait. Portions were fine, but the food was bland, with no real taste or spice. The toilet was also so tiny you had to squeeze and turn to get inside. I liked the cozy boutique feel on arrival, and the greeting staff were polite and helpful, but those problems put me off. It may suit a neat one- or two-day stay, though I’d be worried about getting proper rest and recovery here.
