Customer service was top notch, and I had a beautiful, scintillating experience in the City of Warri. Satisfactory.

Your receptionist answered a corporate phone with “I can hear you.” Based on all my years of travel and stays at hotels across Nigeria, that’s the most unprofessional receptionist I’ve encountered. It shows a lack of basic etiquette and customer service skills, and the staff’s inadequate training is glaring. When I spoke to her in person about it, she showed no remorse and remained rude. There are plenty of qualified customer service professionals available. I strongly urge you to replace this individual or provide your current staff with serious, immediate training. If you don’t take this feedback seriously, your hotel’s reputation and business will suffer.

It's been ten days at Mulberry, and the power has stayed on around the clock the whole time. I came to Warri for two weeks and had already left two hotels because they wouldn't run their generators during the day. Someone pointed me here, saying it was the only hotel in Warri with 24-hour electricity, and so far that's proved true. I really like the place: clean, quiet, and nice. They get the generator going without wasting time, and the service is lovely.

Security was quite good, and the hotel is in a quiet spot that's still central. I stayed two nights. It's very clean and decently managed, with spacious, well-laid-out rooms. The meals were okay, and breakfast comes included. The bar and restaurant are the letdown: just a room with a couple of chairs, nothing like a usual bar or restaurant. Reception staff were fairly okay, but the bar boys were a complete write-off. The staff need serious training in etiquette and hospitality.
