I’d planned to give five stars, but my last day left me feeling uncomfortable. After three nights, I checked out before 11 as expected, then sat quietly in the shared kitchen. At 1pm, reception told me I’d gone past my allowed time. I said I’d already checked out, but she said the hostel’s maximum stay was 1pm. I’ve never encountered that at a hostel before, where guests can usually hang around into the evening. I was going to leave at 1:30 anyway, but the way it was handled felt rude and strange, so I’m giving three stars.
