Mumma Maria and the lovely women in the kitchen deserve a special mention. The included breakfast was tasty, especially the burrito morning, and the international meals on the menu board were good value too. All the staff were friendly, from the multilingual front desk team to the hard-working cleaners. We had a private ensuite room above the pool, room 203. It looked like the photos, was clean and nicely decorated, and had comfortable beds, fans, and AC. Even though it’s a big hostel, it was quiet overnight and we slept well. The place has a spacious shared kitchen, pool table, plunge pool, hammocks, rooftop terrace, and lounge areas with plants and art. We felt safe and welcome as older travellers. It’s a superb place with wonderful decor in the heart of Granada, and our favorite place in Central America.
