The room was a dump, with a pipe sticking out of the wall for a shower, no toilet paper, and no towel. The building also felt deeply sketchy. The doors were double-padlocked, so you had to get someone to unlock them by hand to leave, and the place seemed to attract dubious characters. From different angles, it looked like some kind of “safe house” for a certain underbelly of society. The security was insane. This was the worst accommodation experience of my 8-month Latin America trip so far. When I arrived in the baking heat, they made me stand in a corner with no seat or water and demanded my passport. I felt like a dog in a zoo. I tried to cancel through the booking website’s support chat before checking in, but the business refused and wanted to keep the full prepaid cost of all three nights. They blamed the booking website, even though I was talking to its support live at the time. Their only concern seemed to be making sure I couldn’t use the room’s air conditioning. I stayed so they wouldn’t get to keep payment for three nights without consequence. I told them I’d leave this review, and here it is. See the pictures for validation. The rating can’t be legitimate. A really great spot!

It’s a peaceful place to relax, with good service and an easy-to-reach location.

Paying by card is the downside, since they charge you extra.
