El Mirador Suites and Lounge

Michael and Shannon were wonderful hosts, and their staff were great as well. They shared loads of information about the area and helped with any travel arrangements I needed. The rooms were clean and well equipped. We also tried most of the appetizers one evening and were really impressed. And the complimentary breakfast included with the stay was AMAZING. We thoroughly enjoyed being here and wouldn't regret choosing it.

The owners are Canadian and made us feel very welcome. Since not many locals speak English, it was a real help to get tips from the hosts in our own language and ease into arriving in Nicaragua. Michael met us at the airport with a smile after our long overnight flight and made sure we were comfortable. The hotel was clean and quiet, just right for resting after travel. Everyone was friendly and seemed focused on making the stay pleasant. Food is made fresh onsite, including yeast-free bread, cookies, and corn chips. It's simple, but delicious. Take it easy here and give yourself time to settle into Nicaragua's routine.

The courtyard and the view are beautiful, and the food is fantastic. Definitely try breakfast, it was the best I've had, not just in Nicaragua but anywhere. The rooms are spacious and the air conditioning works really well. Michael and Shannon will make your stay what you want it to be. Awesome hotel, a must stay. Well done, guys.

Breakfast is included, and you pick what you want from the menu. The food is AWESOME and homemade, even things like the yogurt, and the hosts can serve it from 6:30 am if you need an early start. My room was roomy and bright, with good cross ventilation, a spacious bathroom, and GREAT TV CABLE. It had BBC, CNN, EURONEWS for news fans, plus movie and documentary channels. The hotel's in a good location and makes for a beautiful, peaceful stay.
