The location is beautiful, which makes this a real pity. I wanted coffee and breakfast, but they said that wasn’t possible unless I bought a day pass. There’s a “bienvenido” sign outside, but I didn’t feel welcome at all. Other restaurants are happy to welcome you.

The food wasn’t great, and only some of the staff were kind. It’s a good place, but it may be overpriced.

The lake views are lovely, and I’d come back to eat here, though I’d look elsewhere for a swim. There’s no beach, so bring water shoes for all the rocks, and I saw a lot of floating poop in the water. The pool looked cloudy and dirty. The restaurant’s food and drinks were good, and Otto, our server, was kind and helpful. Be aware that dining requires a minimum payment per person at the entrance, with any difference paid at the table, so you can’t just buy a water. Extra charges seemed to come up for everything. Other spots around the lake offer more for less.

We waited 2 hours and 15 minutes for lunch after paying the entrance fee. An hour after ordering, we asked for a refund because our pregnant friend was very hungry. The cashier agreed, but the owner, the woman who calls herself grandma, yelled at her and said she’d take the money out of her wages. Nobody apologized. When the food finally came, it was overcooked, poor quality, overpriced, and the portions were small. I wouldn’t spend my money here again.
