Paying was uncomfortable too: the terminal was entered for more than I’d been told, with no explanation. Earlier, staff had banged on my door well before the 11:00 check out time, which felt stressful and unnecessary. They also talked loudly in the hallway from early morning, and the doors barely blocked any sound, so resting was hard. When I raised it with the owner, she just gestured for me to leave instead of apologizing. It felt like guests’ comfort, transparency, and professionalism mattered very little.

Food spots are right around the corner, and it’s quick to get downtown from this great location. I had a great time here. The open air areas were nice for hanging out, and Matagalpa’s weather added to the good atmosphere. The staff helped with my requests. Sunrise gym is nearby too, and I recommend it.

There’s a big kitchen, and breakfast is available for 120C. The Wi-Fi connection is very good, with plenty of tables and hammocks for sitting, relaxing, or working. It’s a quiet place, and the staff are kind and friendly. They can also share information about things to do in and around Matagalpa, with descriptive books and guides to contact if needed.

The room was spacious, with a huge, really comfy bed, and everything was very clean. It’s a nice, well located hotel, with spots to sit or stretch out in a hammock. I enjoyed staying here.
