Johnny was a fantastic guide on our kayak trip. We started on the lake, then paddled through Rio Istian, where he spotted all kinds of birds, plus howler monkeys and bats we never would have seen by ourselves. We timed our return for sunset, and the view over the lake was spectacular. I highly recommend taking a guided tour with this company.

A local recommended this beautiful, calm spot, and it lived up to the recommendation. It’s a wonderful place to get away from the crowds. The food was really good. We tried several dishes, including mixed tostones, chicken, pork, and my favorite, fried fish. We had an amazing experience.

The lakefront setting is beautiful and peaceful, and the service was friendly and attentive. They responded quickly whenever we needed anything. We tried the locally caught lake fish, which was fresh and well prepared. A really enjoyable meal in a lovely spot. Recommended.

If you’re into fish, you need to eat here. The grilled fish was easily the best we had on our holiday!
