I only stayed one night before heading to Ometepe, and Julietta and her husband made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived. They were so sweet and happy to meet me. Julietta is learning English and enjoys chatting with guests. I loved that they have a few animals, including a parrot and a cute dog, since I’m an animal lover. Simple, but really good value for money.

I arrived very late, and the owners were flexible about check-in and really helpful. The beds were super comfortable, the shared shower was excellent, and there were fresh towels and quiet fans. Hard to ask for much more from a hotel in Central America 😮💨

The beds were the best we’ve slept in anywhere in Nicaragua. The location is fantastic, the staff are professional and super friendly, and we felt safe. Great accommodations for the price. I’d stay again when I’m in Rivas, and highly recommend it.

The private room felt a little overpriced to me, which is the only reason I’m not giving five stars. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay. The hosts were always smiling and ready to help. We were starving at night and tried to get a pizza, and the woman spent a good while trying to find what we wanted. The man also advised us about Ometepe and the timing. It really felt like being at home, and their little dog is the cutest. They speak both Spanish and English, which is very useful.

Rex and Julieta were so lovely and helpful, and we had a great time at hotel Julieta. Everything was perfect. I’d recommend staying here for a short visit or a longer one. Thanks for everything, and hope to see you again!
