The bay views and sunsets were lovely, and the pool was clean and a good size. Our room was enormous, with a huge bed and a big bathroom. Breakfast was good, and the kitchen had excellent facilities. There's a shuttle into town three times daily, or you can walk to the road and catch a bus. It felt more like a hotel than a hostel. We stayed two nights and wished we'd had longer.

A laid-back place to unwind after a beach day or a night out, set a little beyond downtown. The staff were really helpful with my group's questions and advice on making the most of our short visit. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

The pool is nice and the hammocks are good, but a strange smell came from the bathroom in my room. The staff, including the kitchen people, the person giving information, and the security guard, were kind and respectful. The owner was there most of the time, though, and his behavior made the stay very uncomfortable. I found him aggressive and inappropriate, treating guests badly and acting in an arrogant, unprofessional, and disrespectful way. This could be a great place, but meeting the owner took away its appeal. I don't recommend it at all.

The free breakfast was lovely, and I appreciated being able to use the kitchen, the pool, and the view. The accommodation itself is nice, and the staff were pleasant, but they weren't very accommodating when we were stuck inside with no way out. The rules and procedures are really lacking and difficult to deal with. If you get there before 3 pm, you're required to wait in the smoking area, away from the communal spaces and directly in the sun. There's no alternative, and the property is far from town and transport. In the dorms, bottom bunks have a personal fan, but top bunks don't and get extremely sweaty. I'd only recommend staying if you're ready to put up with inconveniences.
