Malibu At Pacific Marlin

The views are breathtaking, and they stay on top of everything, even sending maintenance to clean the pool. My family had a great time here. The owners cared about us enjoying ourselves and were very accommodating, which made us feel they truly cared about our experience. It’s hard to ask for a better place to visit and enjoy Nicaragua. I’d gladly recommend it to anyone heading there. Thank you Juan Carlos and Osmary.

The house itself was nice, and the view was okay, but a guest in our group had his phone stolen from the table by the pool. Anyone can apparently walk onto the back patio of the “private” houses, and management did nothing about it. There are no outdoor cameras to show who comes and goes, so we had to accept the loss. Afterward, we didn’t feel safe, and it put a damper on our trip. I’ve stayed in many private houses in San Juan del Sur on my other visits, and this has never happened before. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it. There are more beautiful private properties in San Juan del sur where you can feel safer and the staff are trustworthy, go out of their way to help, and look out for your best interests.

The houses are beautifully designed and built, with generators for when the electricity fails. It’s away from the noise in San Juan, but close enough to go out for dinner every night. Sometimes you need a bit of North American luxury, and Malibu has that and more. I’d totally recommend staying here. Best getaway in all of Nicaragua!

About 30 of us stayed for four days and had an amazing time. The place was clean, close to downtown, and had all the comforts of home. I highly recommend staying here on your trip to San Juan Del Sur.
