Familiehotel Alkmaar

The welcome was warm and communication was really good, and both the bedroom and bathroom were very clean. I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel right in central Alkmaar. I’d definitely choose it again if I return.

We spent an extended stay at Family Hotel Alkmaar and found the apartment comfortable, thoughtfully laid out, and equipped with everything we needed. The hosts were always helpful whenever something came up, and their service was excellent throughout. Since we were new to the Netherlands, we especially valued their local knowledge and advice about the area and how things work here. They made us feel very welcome. The location was convenient, with everything easy to reach. We’re grateful for the positive experience and would happily stay again. Highly recommended!

We were five, two adults and our kids aged 8, 10, and 13, and the family apartment worked perfectly for us. It was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had what we needed for some meals in between eating out. The host was kind to all of us and gave us great tips. Being in the city center meant restaurants, shops, and grocery stores were close by. We also found the train to Amsterdam convenient, and spent two days biking to Bergen, Egemond, and other places. We’d recommend staying here in Alkmaar and hope to return. Thanks for a wonderful visit!

I moved to NL recently and had to extend my booking because of delays with my property. They were accommodating the whole time and really helped during a stressful move. The room was clean and lovely, the price felt fair, and the location was great. It was also easy to get in touch with them. Such a nice hotel to stay in, I’d recommend it.
