Inside, it's cute and quaint, and the service was great. The rooms are amazing and well equipped, with towels, plates, cutlery, pots, and pans if you want to cook. There's also a coffee machine with Nespresso pods. There's a curious underground cellar, too. Turn on the light and you can see how they used to store cheese in basements.

The canal view is lovely, and a lively shopping street is just 10 minutes away. It's warm and super cozy, with a soft, homely feel. Fully recommend ♥️

We were welcomed with wine, cheese, nuts, and chocolate, and dinner and breakfast were included. We've never had anything like it. Thank you so much. We don't want to leave, but our @greeninn_am_deich is calling us!

We had such a pleasant stay, and our days in Alkmaar will stay fond memories. The hostess kindly left wine and cheese, plus bread, butter, and jam, so we were set for our first evening and breakfast. The cozy room had a small kitchenette with a stove, fridge, and dishwasher. You're right in the heart of the touristy part of town, just steps from the cheese market, yet it was very quiet. An ideal place to stay in Alkmaar.

The hostess was extremely friendly and stopped by to explain a few things. The apartment was clean and in a great location, with a welcome spread of wine, cheese, jam, honey, snacks, and cold drinks. They'd even put ice cubes in the freezer. Simply fantastic. Alkmaar is always worth a visit, and I'd highly recommend this holiday apartment.
