Oude Postkantoor de Rijp

Waking up to boats and sunshine over the water, with the smell of warm croissants coming from the hallway, was such a treat. Breakfast could be fresh coffee, a "justje," pancakes, or yogurt with warm peaches, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. We stayed for the weekend with Marcel, Thom, and Grace, their gorgeous dog. The rooms were fantastic and spotless, with a big soft bed that smelled lovely. There was a bath, coffee, tea, wine, a TV, a hairdryer, bathrobes, and plenty more. Marcel and Thom are wonderful hosts, and you can feel how much love they put into the place. You won’t want for anything. Book now! 😉

De Rijp is so picturesque, with lovely restaurants, and Amsterdam is easy to get to, about 30 minutes by car or 45 minutes by bus. We could bring our dog, and she felt at home. The room was beautiful and had everything we needed, including a fridge, kettle, and coffee maker. Thomas and Marcel welcomed us with tea and scones and gave us great excursion tips. They’re among the loveliest hosts we’ve ever met. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully decorated, and the breakfast was excellent and lovingly prepared. It was an absolutely perfect stay. We’d love to come back. Thanks for everything!

We enjoyed every minute, from arriving through to leaving. This B&B has a beautiful, atmospheric feel, a superb location, and amazing hosts. Thank you, Marcel and Thomas.

We wished we could have stayed longer. The breakfast was generous and delicious, and the whole place is tastefully decorated. Our street-side room was lovely, with a great big, very soft bed and a bathroom with two sinks. Tom and Marcel were friendly and gave us lots of useful information. We were welcomed warmly, and check-in and communication were really easy. We highly recommend Oude Postkantoor de Ripp.
