Hotel Keistad

We were welcomed pleasantly, and the receptionist waited an extra 1,5 hours for us as arranged in advance. The hotel was good, with a nice bathroom and comfortable bed, though the climate control and fridge could have worked better. The location right on the square is really good. It’s very central and nice, and we recommend staying here when visiting amersfoort.

Right in the heart of the old town, and surprisingly quiet. I had a very nice stay: the room was big with room for all my things, and the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was first class, with beautiful fittings 😍. The decor is a little dated, but it didn’t detract from the stay.

The square view was lovely, and I really appreciated having coffee and tea facilities in the room. We enjoyed our stay, with a clean room, a comfortable bed, and everything we needed. There was a music festival on while we were there, so the sounds carried through the closed window even with earplugs. We liked it, though I can see how others might find it too noisy. The room felt a bit old fashioned. It had just one bedside table, with a broken light, and a small gap in the shower doors let some water onto the floor. Minor issues overall.

The manager went out of his way to arrange an early breakfast for me, and let me store my luggage and use some towels hours after checkout. That service minded attitude earned the 4 stars. Otherwise, I would have stopped at 3. The room fridge and some towels weren’t clean.
