Htel Serviced Apartments Amsterdam Amstelveen

I stayed here on and off for about two years, and it almost felt like home. The apartments are large, clean, and newly built, with fully equipped kitchens and very good ventilation. Parking is available nearby. It’s in Amstelveen, one of the most beautiful districts of Amterdam. Lidl, Jumbo, Albert Heijn, and other stores are about a five-minute walk away, and public transport is all around. The hotel managers and front desk staff are very nice and solve problems quickly and professionally.

I’d like to praise Daniel, who was always welcoming and available. He even called back to understand what had happened and apologize. The service could use improvement, though. I stayed for a month, and while the rooms were good and spacious, some of the extra services weren’t fully working. The main problem came after checkout, when the hotel received an important piece of mail for me. I was emailed to pick it up, but after spending two hours going there on Sunday, it couldn’t be found. I was asked to check again the next morning. After a few calls, I was told it had turned up, but when I came back after work that evening, it was gone again. The night staff showed little accountability, especially a receptionist who I think may have been Turkish. He welcomed guests wearing AirPods, and when I tried to explain, he rudely said, “I was not here, you can't address it with me.” At that moment, the receptionist represents the hotel and should take responsibility for what happens.

I spent six months at Htel, and it became my second home while I was away for so long. My room had pretty much everything I needed, including a fully equipped kitchen, and the service was great. They did a good job with the cleaning. There’s a gym and swimming pool, though the pool was closed during my stay. The complimentary coffee on the ground floor is a must-try. We stayed for five weeks, and being able to extend our stay at short notice was a huge help while we searched for an apartment. The staff were very nice, friendly, and helpful. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed, and the hotel is pet friendly, which worked great for us. You can register with the municipality as long as you deregister when you move. Amstelveen is a lovely area, though Amsterdam central is some distance away by public transport. The hotel is conveniently close to a bus stop and tram, with grocery stores within walking distance and a hospital across the road.
