The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, and the staff were nice. It was good value, too. The hotel is right in the Centre of Apeldoorn, about a 10min walk from.the train station, in a nice old building with a restaurant and bar. The stairs up to the rooms are very steep. That’s understandable in an old building, but they could be tricky if you’re not very mobile.

The room was lovely, the staff were fantastic, and it was very quiet for somewhere in the town centre. If stairs aren’t a problem for you, try to get room 30.

The location was fantastic, but the elevator wasn’t working, and the stairs were steep and hard for older people. My room was among the smallest, with very little room to move, and the towel heater didn’t work. Thank you for replying, Owner. About the elevator, I guess our Tour Organizer didn’t know you don’t have one. As for the rooms, several other groups in ours had MUCH LARGER rooms than we did.

The only possible downside was the noise from people drinking at the bar outside the downstairs bedroom window. Otherwise, the staff were friendly, the interior looked great, and the hotel felt very welcoming, with lots of people sitting outside. We stayed in Utrecht, Zwolle and Apeldoorn. The prices were about the same, but this was by far the nicest hotel. The other two were complete dumps.
