We had a great holiday and would happily come back. There was so much to do around the site that we stayed there instead of heading out, and hired bikes to get around. The pool is tucked into the woodland, the restaurant food was amazing, and kids had plenty to keep them busy. The grounds are large and wooded, with good facilities. Our chalet was spacious, quiet and relaxing, set on a generous plot. Staff were helpful and polite, and spoke excellent English. My only letdown was the very soft beds and poor pillows, so bring your own.

We stayed in a Safari Tent and only needed to pack clothes, soap and toothbrushes. Kids had loads to do, from the pool and splash area to a big trampoline, playgrounds, evening singing and a safe place to ride their bikes around the park. There are forest bike rides nearby too. The restaurant was fine, and they sold coffee and fresh bread each morning for an extra charge. No complaints, it’s an excellent holiday park.

There are plenty of play areas to keep the kids occupied, plus a restaurant on site. The tents had very satisfactory facilities, and if you come by car you can park close to your tent. The staff were really friendly and spoke several languages, including English.

We spent a week camping with our own sanitary facilities, which was perfect. The staff were friendly and things went well until Friday 05 July, our last day. At lunch in the RCN brasserie, the waitress stopped attending to us as soon as our food arrived. Our used dishes stayed on the table, she never asked if we wanted another drink, and we couldn’t get her attention. The terrace wasn’t busy, with only eight tables occupied, and she served the other tables. I have no idea why, and I’m trying not to think it was because of my color. After nearly 50 minutes, my daughter and I really needed more to drink, so I went over to order and ask for the menu again. I also asked why she hadn’t come to our table. She ignored that question and took my order. One drink was missing when it arrived, and I had to ask another waiter to finish the order and bring the menu. As I write this, 30 minutes later, we’re still waiting for someone to take our next order. Shocking, and I still wonder why. One suggestion for RCN: please think of activities for teenagers too. Most of them seem aimed at younger children, which is a pity.

The place was peaceful and beautiful, and everything went well from start to finish. They were quick to respond by email and helped us with a late checkout, which was great. The toilets were clean and easy to get to. We’d be happy to book again.
