Dinner was just as well done as breakfast, with friendly staff who know what they're serving. Afterward, the room has a nice vibe for relaxing. Breakfast has enough choice and everything is prepared well. The hotel is within walking distance of the beautiful Gardens of Arcen and the watermill "ijsvogel".

We only ate at the restaurant. The staff were friendly, and I liked that there were lots of vegetables. The schnitzels were OK, though I've had better.

We booked dinner here without having reserved elsewhere, and that worked out well. The hotel holds a dinner table for each booked room until 17.30, which was handy since all the other restaurants were full. Breakfast was tasty, with lots of options and a nice atmosphere. We rented a four-bed room for two couples. It had two floors, with a double bed on each. The bathroom was huge, with lots of room and a pretty good shower. The window looked out over the back parking lot, but there were plenty of trees, so that was fine. The hotel's parking was completely full, though more free parking is a five-minute walk away.

Friendly service, and there's a roof terrace. The hotel is centrally located and very nice, with free wifi. It has a restaurant, but we didn't try it. Breakfast looked expensive, so we went to the bakery across the street instead.

The bathroom is a little dated and due for renovation, though that's been postponed because of corona. It was clean and had everything needed. Our room, on the other hand, was excellent, modern, very clean and comfortable, with a coffee and tea set and a big LCD screen. The beds were clean and comfortable too. Hotel Arcen is a nice little family hotel in central Arcen, with great, helpful and friendly owners and staff. Thanks for having us. The restaurant is very good, and the cozy bar has a beautiful videowall and a good beer chart. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh bread baked daily by the local backery using the owner/chef's recepy. It was delicious, and the buffet also had lots of other breads and everything you could want, from salmon to smoothies. The owner is also the owner and chef of the restaurant "De Oude Hoeve". They cook with fresh ingredients, and you can taste it. As someone who makes their own spareribs, I'd put these ribs in my top 3 ever. They're marinated for 48 hours, and the tasty meat falls off the bone. Great.
