ibis Styles Arnhem Centre

Arnhem Centraal is right next door, and there's a Spar downstairs for groceries. After a long trip, the shower was lovely. The room was exceptionally clean, and I know what to look for since I do barrier cleans for infection control at my local hospital. Check-in took no more than three minutes, with very pleasant staff. We came to Arnhem to meet some friends of our kids and had a great time. The rooftop bar was fantastic, the people were kind, and the rooms were nice. The hotel is perfectly located close to the Station. I gotta come back in the summer !!!

Parking was a frustrating part of the stay. Driving in Arnhem felt complicated as a foreigner, and I expected Ibis Hotel to have its own parking or explain the nearby options before we arrived. We only got an answer after going in and asking the Receptionists, and there was no customer rate at the nearby parking facility. In the room, one electrical outlet didn't work, the towels were average-sized instead of including a large shower towel, and there were no slippers, kettle, tea, or coffee. I understand the environmental policy behind leaving out optional items like a pencil or notebook. I was pleased with my stay overall, but the service and conditions felt average. I'd rate the experience 6/10.

My window looked out onto the rubbish bin area, which was the one drawback. The views from other rooms are better, and the rooftop bar is amazing. The room itself was very clean, the staff were friendly, and the hotel had good rooms and facilities. The photos are the view from the rooftop bar. I highly recommend it.
