B&B de Notaris

The location is excellent if you want to be in central Assen, and breakfast was extensive and well prepared. Our spacious room was fully furnished, spotless, and everything in it was brand new. The bed and bathroom were both lovely, and the hostess made us feel welcome and well looked after. The room layout, which seems dictated by the space available, wasn't comfortable in every way, so I'd take off one star for the room. Also, the B&B is on a high first floor with no elevator, so it's best suited to people who can walk well.

It's easy to walk from the B&B into central Assen, which worked perfectly for dinner and the theater during our stay. Breakfast was top-notch, and having it in our room was so relaxing. The kitchenette was handy, with a fridge, microwave, kettle, and Senseo, plus coffee pods, milk, sugar, and several kinds of tea. There was even a bottle of white wine in the fridge. Everything was comfortable and well cared for, the bed was wonderful, and the hostess was really friendly and hospitable. Highly recommended!

Henk and Alice welcomed us with so much enthusiasm. They're a friendly couple, and the room was spotless. Add a blissful bed and a delicious breakfast, and you've got a lovely place right in the middle of Assen.

We slept wonderfully here. The room was beautiful and clean, the hosts were welcoming, and breakfast was delicious. It's in a lovely spot right in the city center.
