It’s hard to fit all the good things about this B&B into one review. The location is ideal, right beside Assen centre, with a path into the forest nearby. Inside, the old mansion has been turned into a wellness B&B, with a lovely lounge, kitchenette, garden access, a great bed, large whirlpool bath, and nice shower. It really has all the comforts. Yvonne and Jos were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. Their food is delicious, and the breakfast was unlike anything I’ve had elsewhere. Absolutely fantastic. TIP: Try the tapas and whirlpool package. It was an unforgettable experience.

The breakfast was the most beautiful I’ve ever seen, and the bed was wonderful. We had a spacious, luxurious jacuzzi with plenty of room for two. The rooms were generous and tastefully decorated, and we got a warm welcome with a great explanation of everything. Best B&B we’ve ever stayed at. A solid 10, and thanks for the hospitality 👍

We’ve stayed in plenty of luxury hotels, but this was our first B&B, and what a find. The room, tasty breakfast, and tapas in the bath were all perfect. I honestly can’t think of anything to improve. Yvonne and Jos, thanks so much for a lovely weekend and for making us feel so welcome!

We’ve been to lots of lovely B&Bs, but this one really stood out. The welcome was so warm, the decor showed real attention to detail, and the breakfast and whirlpool snacks were delicious.
