The restaurant served delicious dinner, and breakfast was varied and tasty. Staff were helpful, and there was plenty of parking. Our room was spacious, with interesting decor, toiletries provided, and a comfortable bed. The location is convenient, though not especially picturesque, and the hotel does a lot to make the stay pleasant. The one letdown was the chairs on the small terrace outside our room, which were covered in bird droppings, so we had to sit on the edge. We received a discount for our next stay and will be back next year.

Emily at reception was very sweet and really tried to help us. She deserves a raise. The rest of the experience was the worst hotel stay we've ever had. On our first trip to the Netherlands, we were traveling with a toddler and a baby, and found that the air conditioning in our room didn't work. We spent hours in a 30° room, with no real fix offered, just the option of paying for somewhere else ourselves. The hotel then let us cancel the second night without charge, as if that were a favor. We weren't moved to another room until almost midnight, after our whole evening had been ruined. Management failed us completely.

I've enjoyed staying at your hotel in the past, so this stay was especially disappointing. The problems began in the second week, when housekeeping knocked at 9:00 AM and insisted I leave immediately for the room to be cleaned. If I couldn't go at that exact time, they wouldn't clean it until the next day. On several mornings when I left early, the electricity had been switched off, and my food in the refrigerator spoiled. That felt unsafe and unacceptable. When I misplaced my room card, staff handed over a replacement rudely and demanded the old one, which was locked in my room. There was also an issue with the air conditioning on [18 August ], at around 11:00 pm. I reported it, and a staff member said he'd come after his colleague returned. After waiting about an hour, I went back to the desk and found both staff there. One checked the unit in my room, then said he could only contact the service team the next day and couldn't help right then. I couldn't sleep comfortably that night. This isn't the service I expected, and the way I was treated left me feeling unwelcome and unfairly treated. I sincerely hope it had nothing to do with where I come from. Please address these matters urgently and give me an explanation and a fair resolution.

The pool was really cold, including the baby pool, and the crew didn't seem to care at all. I asked for 2 extra towels, but they said they couldn't bring them to the room, so I had to come downstairs and get them myself.

We had a lovely stay. The rooms were great, and the staff were friendly. The bar was cozy too, with a friendly bartender. Highly recommend.
