Room 10 was spacious and stylish, with comfortable beds and a peaceful atmosphere. It was a warm evening, so eating outside in the lovely garden was just right. We had a wonderful stay. We chose the six-course dinner and loved all the different tastes and textures. Breakfast was great too, though we were still too full from the night before to eat much. The hotel changed hands over the past year, and the new owners are clearly putting a lot of effort into making it even better.

We had a lovely family room, nicely furnished and well laid out, with a separate room inside. A clever little hallway meant people on both sides could get to the bathroom independently, which was a big plus. Breakfast was freshly prepared and served at the table, and the homemade marmalades deserve a mention. Since we knew the restaurant was closed on Sundays and Mondays, we had more room to enjoy breakfast. The setting in the middle of the forest is wonderful, and the hospitality felt casual with a touch of luxury. Highly recommended. We’ll certainly come back, and this could become our hideaway when visiting family and friends in The Netherlands.

We had a spacious, clean, comfortable room with lovely art. The hotel near Lochem has a great feel to it, and the garden is peaceful and quiet. The owners were gentle and helpful. Dinner was tasty, made with local products and paired with suitable wines.

The hotel is in a lovely rural setting in a small village of Lochem. It’s owned and run by a nice couple who also live on the grounds, and the staff are really friendly. We only had breakfast there, but the restaurant has a Michelin star, so dinner is definitely worth trying!
