The room itself was fine, but everything felt dirty and broken while the hotel was being renovated. The booking issue at reception was what really upset me. The guy couldn't confirm our reservation and asked to see my Booking.com payment account, then made a simple matter complicated. He'd written down the wrong room number, so I ended up walking around trying doors and guessing which one was ours. He was rude and condescending throughout. I won't return to Bastion hotel.

My compliments again to the staff for being so friendly and focused on service. The employee at reception on Sunday and Monday morning was especially helpful, well educated, intelligent, and friendly, and seemed to anticipate what the client might need.

The staff were all polite and friendly, and the receptionist spoke several languages. Patricia was particularly helpful, so a big thank you to her.

Getting there was easy, with the hotel close to the highway and free parking. We were very happy with our stay and will recommend it to friends. The hotel was beautiful and clean, and the staff were professional and kind. They let us check in early and even upgraded us, which we really appreciated. Thanks, we'll definitely visit again!

Couldn't sleep well because I could hear all the noise from behind the door. The room was too cold too.
