blooming Hotel

I checked with the hotel first about having a letter sent there, and they said it was fine. Later they told me it had been on an office table and had disappeared. They lost it, and the way they handled it felt unprofessional and discourteous. The least reliable hotel experience I've had.

The bar has a lovely atmosphere, especially out on the terrace, and breakfast was generous and really good. Service was excellent too. Set in the woods near the beach, it's a gorgeous spot. I'd happily come back.

The walls were so thin I could hear a neighbor's horrible cough as if they were in my room, and the bed next door squeaked rhythmically enough to make mine move. I ended up turning the TV up loud. There was also a beeping delivery truck at 7 a.m., then lots of noisy trolleys being moved outside from about 7:30. On the plus side, the staff were attentive, online check-in was easy, and there was plenty of parking. The garden gets good sun and the cocktails were great. The sauna and pools were clean and lovely. My single room had two towels, so I didn't need to rent another. The TV had lots of channels, including some in English. I'd booked partly because I wanted a massage after cycling 250 km the week before, but there were no beauty treatments because staff were absent. The Nespresso machine in my room didn't work either.

I've been bringing guests here to see the tulip fields since 2017, and Blooming has worked out beautifully for our tours every time. The location, atmosphere, rooms and service are all things I love. Breakfast is excellent and dinner is really good too. I'll keep coming back with groups. Thanks!
