Polderhuis Bed & Breakfast

The coffee was made by hand and tasted really good, and the famous, well-prepared Appeltaart was a lovely accompaniment. I only stopped in for coffee, but the place was lovely and the service friendly. I'll be back for more!

Breakfast was a highlight every morning, with delicious homemade and local food. The staff checked that everything was to our liking, and Mieke even brought us samples of traditional dutch food to try. That was such a thoughtful touch. She also made us feel welcome right away and had great tips on bike routes, places to eat, and using the local Metro.😉 Our room was beautiful and spotless, with air conditioning and big windows. Coffee, tea, and water were always available for free. Everything was above what we expected, and we'll definitely stay at Polderhuis B&B on our next vacation in the area.

The breakfast was a real treat, the best we've had anywhere. A lazy Susan came loaded with fresh fruit, locally made yoghurt, butter and cheeses, home made jams, meats, pastries, brown and white rolls made with water from the sea, and toast. We could choose eggs, and there was fresh orange juice, water, fresh coffee, or tea. The staff were so welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and nothing seemed too much trouble. We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful historic B&B. Our room was spacious and tastefully decorated, with a large wet room, a park view, air conditioning, a kettle and coffee machine, bottled water, and a hair dryer. It was a real pleasure to stay at the Polderhuis, and we look forward to coming back!

The people were really welcoming, and the food was nice. My friend and I had an amazing stay, and the beds were really good. Thanks for everything.
