Kids can pet the young calves and chickens, and the owner comes by in the morning with her pony to entertain them. The Rhine is just 100 meters away for swimming, and you can rent bikes in the village. A real little paradise for children.

I stop by regularly to drop off flyers, and came to look when the haystack huts opened. I live in the village, so I won’t be staying there, but they look like a great choice for parents with children. They’re nicely decorated and child-friendly. The kids might have fun playing with the owners’ children, if that’s allowed.

The hosts are very friendly, and it’s so quiet here. A wonderful holiday spot and a paradise for kids, with the sea only 39 km away.
