Breakfast was a highlight, with food made to look and taste fantastic and a view of the historic city hall. We had a great room and lovely hosts during our couple of days here. Bolswart is a cute little town, too. We'd happily stay again if we're in the area.

We came to switch off and unwind, and that’s exactly what our stay at Elf B&B gave us. The welcome was warm and hospitable, and breakfast was delicious. The stylish decor and lovely atmosphere made the whole visit fantastic.

Having just two rooms made for a really peaceful, private stay. Breakfast is served in the lovely first-floor salon, where the window seats look out over the old town hall. The hosts were caring and offered useful tips. The property is beautiful and right in the heart of Bolsward, with museums, a canal cruise, restaurants and shops all within walking distance. Free parking is a two-minute walk away. Highly recommended.

The hosts gave us a very thoughtful welcome and lots of information about this part of Friesland. We discovered plenty of culture and nature, including bird hides and Fryske Gea sites, and it also makes a great base for cycling. Breakfast in the gorgeous salon, with its wall panels and fireplace, was a real treat. The location near the town hall and cafe-restaurant is lovely, and our room had a very good double bed and a lovely bathroom.
