Getting into the centre is easy enough, just five minutes by train, with trains every half hour, though the hotel is a little out of the way. Reception staff were lovely and everything during the stay went smoothly. The room was roomy and comfortable, with a coffee machine and a good shower. The bed was much too soft for my back, though. I couldn’t tell if it was meant to be that squishy or was just old. Before arriving, I tried calling twice and waited 8-10 minutes each time without an answer. My email also got no reply, but they did call me back later.

Dinner and breakfast were just right, with plenty of choice and generous portions. Katty, Kubra and Alwin were amazing and always ready to help. Thanks for everything, and a special thank-you to the Chef.

We arrived after midnight, and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. We’d asked for a top-floor room and got one. It was modern and good-looking, with a large bedroom and a big, comfortable bed. The shower was lovely, powerful and easy to use. This is a new, quiet hotel with lots of parking. We skipped breakfast, but the jukebox in reception was cool. We’d stay again.

This was my second visit, and the staff again did everything they could to make me feel welcome. The service was great, especially from the restaurant team. Big thanks to Katie, the cook, who went the extra mile and made an excellent dish. Thanks, guys!

Kate had the food on the table before I’d even realized how hungry I was. She’s a magician, and the service was an art form. I came in for a burger and got a culinary revelation instead. That burger was pure poetry. If every waiter were like Kate, McDonald’s would be out of business. Thanks for such a delicious experience. I’ll be back faster than ketchup runs off a fry!
