B&B de Passant

The hosts made us feel so welcome, answering our questions and sharing useful tips. We spent five wonderful days in Breskens and felt very well cared for. Breakfast was outstanding, and the beds were very comfortable. There are several peaceful spots in the garden to relax, and we could leave the car right outside the house. The village is only a three-minute walk away. Our bicycles also had a good place in the shed on the property. We felt at home here and would definitely recommend this B&B.

It was lovely and quiet here, with no children around. Parking right in front of the house was always available. Breakfast is clearly the focus: there's plenty of good food, and the coffee from the modern automatic machine is delicious, made with real beans and real milk. You can use the garden too, though we didn't.

Room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, which mattered a lot to us. The breakfast was enormous: fresh fruit, cold cuts, cheese, savory spreads like hummus that looked homemade, juice, water and milk, all set out on cooled trays at the table. They make your egg how you like it, cooked, fried or scrambled, and there are croissants and all kinds of bread too. We did feel we needed a bit of extra cycling or walking to burn it off 😊 This B&B is a good base for visiting Breskens, nearby places and the lovely beaches, especially if you're cycling. Bikes can be kept safely in a locked garage, with outlets for charging e-bikes. The owners are friendly and hospitable. It's a historic building, and the rooms on the second floor are reached by two steep staircases. Room 6 is a little small, but has its own bathroom with shower and toilet, plus a refrigerator. We were there during a heatwave, but the fan and the opening skylights with mosquito screens above the bed made it manageable.

The landlords were super nice and had everything very well organized. Breakfast was fantastic and generous, with some homemade items, fresh fruit and juice. The room and bathroom were clean and well kept. It's a great place for a few days, and you can walk to the town center.
