Being right in the middle of Buren made it easy to walk to restaurants, gift shops, and the very popular Metz bicycle hire shop. My wife, our 2-year-old daughter, and I stayed at De Klock Hotel for the first time. Breakfast was standard but tasty, though I found it odd that there was no bacon on Sunday. The stay was satisfactory, but two things left a bad impression. When we returned the hired bicycles on Sunday morning, our luggage had been left outside our room, where anyone passing could get to it. The hotel was extremely quiet, and I wasn't comfortable with that. I don't think leaving the bags in our room for a few extra minutes would have been a problem. After paying at reception, I asked for a cup of coffee and was immediately told no because the machine was off. I found both of those responses extremely rude, and I'll think carefully before booking De Klock Hotel again. I hope they make more of an effort with first-time guests in future.

The food wasn't superb, though it was still tasty. The place was quiet and clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the service was friendly. A positive experience.

The beds weren't very comfortable, and the room wasn't beautiful. Still, it was affordable and the staff were friendly. Nothing was really wrong with it.
