Hotel de Blanke Top

The wellness area was a highlight for us. The pool is 15m by 7m, with enough space for a couple of families, and the water was a great temperature, definitely not too cold. Our kids loved it, including the toddler splash bath. We also tried the saunas, whose beach views made them even better, and appreciated the adult spa's relaxing areas and the tea and water. Bathrobes were provided. We had land-facing superior rooms, with enough space for three people to sleep in one room. The terrace was quiet, with no street noise. The bathroom was nicely fitted and had a separate bathtub. There were a few marks on the walls that could use paint, but that was our only complaint about the room. The minibar was reasonably priced, and we appreciated the water provided. Housekeeping did a good job. Parking under the building was plentiful and very convenient. There were enough 11kw chargers, luggage trolleys, and direct access from the parking area to the rooms. Reception was friendly and efficient. Breakfast had a great range, and we liked being able to take our time and eat late. The kids' playroom was a real plus on a grey day with a toddler, who spent a few hours there. We didn't eat at the hotel, apart from the children having some snacks at the brasserie, but it all looked in order. The beach is very easy to reach. Shops are a bit farther away, but the setting is definitely more relaxed. It was a great experience at a very laid-back hotel.

The easy beach access and underground garage, with plenty of charging stations, were big pluses for us. The nearest supermarket is about a 15-minute walk, though, and the room only came with one bottle of water per day. They did give us more when we asked. We came back to Hotel Blanke Top in Cadzand for the second time, this time for my father's birthday with our 8-month-old baby. We stayed in a Sky Room and the Senior Wellness Suite. Both were in excellent condition and had direct sea views. The Senior Suite's balcony faced the neighboring building, but from the bed we could still look out at the sea through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The hotel arranged a birthday cake for us, and it worked out perfectly. At checkout our son was given a little teddy bear, a very kind gesture. We ate at Le Sommet twice, once from the set menu and once à la carte. The food was good but not outstanding, and service was a little slow. Breakfast was very good, and the views from the restaurant and rooms were great. It was a very pleasant stay, and we look forward to coming back.

I really enjoyed the modern, well-equipped spa. My sea-view room was comfortable and well maintained, and breakfast had a great selection of high-quality food. The location is wonderful, with easy access to beautiful nature nearby. Highly recommended!

I enjoyed every moment here. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and having interconnected rooms available is a big plus. The balconies facing the sea were spectacular. It's near the center, with restaurants and gelato shops within walking distance. Everything was top notch, though the room rates were high. I guess it was worth it, because this is the kind of hotel you leave, but the place stays with you.
