The village square, with its restaurants, cafes, supermarket, drugstore, and gift and clothing shops, is less than a minute away, yet the B&B is wonderfully peaceful. The beach is just a five-minute walk. Henneke and Rinus are incredibly hospitable, and you can tell right away from the lovely welcome package. There’s a private garden, plus a room with its own bathroom, sauna (!), and pantry where you can chill food and make coffee or tea. Once you’ve stayed here, you’ll want to come back!

Though compact, this apartment is beautiful, modern, and very practical. The hosts, Heneke and Rinus, were friendly and made sure we had a relaxing visit. We arrived to find the fridge stocked with lots of delicious things, and there were plenty of hand and bath towels, plus bathrobes and slippers. Such a thoughtful touch. There’s also a sauna. The central location made it easy to get to the beach, bakery, shops, restaurants, and a well-stocked supermarket.

There was everything we needed for a lovely stay in authentic Callantsoog. The village center and beach are both close by, and inside it’s spacious, beautiful, and fully equipped, with a lovely garden and great privacy. Our hostess and host were exceptionally kind and willing to help with absolutely anything. Highly recommended!!!

Small but perfectly put together! The hosts were so attentive and friendly, and the place was super clean and far better prepared than we expected. There was a stocked fridge, coffee, tea, and even a bottle of rosé wine. Probably the best place we’ve experienced on our travels. We highly recommend it.
