The Kids Club team were probably the best holiday park entertainers for children I’ve ever seen in the Netherlands. They went above and beyond, though it’s a pity there was so little on the program. We booked a weekend here in October 2023. The holiday houses look nice and were generally in good shape, with a few things needing repair. Maintenance staff took notes and promised to handle them during the winter closure. The park has four EV chargers, all working well, and it’s a 15-minute walk to the beach. The pool is small and simple, but pleasant, though it badly needs maintenance. All three showers were broken, apparently for weeks based on other reviews, and one of the three changing rooms was out of order. I can only imagine the crowds in summer. The pool water was a little too cold, though staff supervised it constantly.

Every interaction with the staff was lovely. We stayed as a family of two adults and two young kids in a six-person lodge, and it was just right: clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a nice stay. The kids loved the pool and scooting around the park. We walked to the beach once. It isn’t close, but the walk was very doable. We’ll be back!

The park has the usual facilities and is well kept. It combines holiday houses with a campsite, and we stayed in one of the houses. Ours was meant for six people, though that would feel cramped. Still, the house is mainly somewhere to sleep when you’re here for the North Sea beaches. The dunes aren’t right beside the park, but the beach is close enough to walk to. You can also bike or drive, with plenty of parking near the beach. Dogs are welcome, and the layout gives good access to dog-walking areas.

Our tent was cozy, with a good bed and a complete kitchen, though it was a bit old, perhaps because we chose the budget option. The public service area was clean, and there were enough things to keep kids busy: a mini club, indoor pool, playgrounds, trampoline, tennis court, football field, plus rental bikes and skelters. There’s a supermarket close by. The pool slide was nice, but the pool area felt too small, and it can get really loud with teenagers.

We had a great time at the camping ground and are looking forward to coming back. Everyone working here was friendly, and it’s a paradise for kids of all ages. If you want a quiet holiday, though, I wouldn’t recommend it.
