Hotel Mooirivier

The terrace by the river has a great view, and the food was excellent. There's spacious indoor storage for bikes, with charging available for e-bikes. It's also a lovely base for cycling in this part of The Netherlands. Our room wasn't especially clean, and with no air conditioning the warm weather made it hard to sleep. The internet in the room was poor, and housekeeping knocked at 9.00AM on our last morning before we'd checked out. For a two-night booking, you can choose a free drink instead of having the room cleaned, which is a nice idea. Overall, a very good experience.

In just 24 hours, my husband and I felt completely recharged. Even in January's grey weather, the quiet surroundings and nature felt beautiful and fresh. The rooms, setting, and kitchen all get five stars from me, but the service deserves its own mention. Every staff member was helpful, friendly, and a real hard worker. What impressed me most was how genuine they felt, unlike the trained staff at big hotels, with all respect to them. I'd give this place seven stars.

The wellness area is free for hotel guests and runs from 3 pm to 10 pm. It has a fantastic sauna, steam room, and infrared cabin. Everyone on staff was really nice and helpful, and you can rent bikes from the hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful and peaceful in a rural spot near nearby towns, with lots of walking and cycling routes around and a large free car park.

I was here for a business seminar and had a good experience. The hotel has a huge terrace beside the river with a superb view. Rooms are spacious, the bed was super comfy, and both the food and service were great. There's a good gym and easy dirt paths nearby for running.
